Anderson Buys A Trolley

Anderson will have a trolley running through it sometime next year. The Herald Bulletin reports the Anderson Board of Public Works on Tuesday approved the purchase of the trolley for the City of Anderson Transit System for $183,000. The city had a trolley before, but it was taken out of service seven years ago. Funding to purchase the trolley was through a federal grant with the city providing 20% in matching funds.
